Oil derivatives ship arrives at Hodeidah Port
SANAA, Aug. 3 (YPA) – A source in Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) on Friday announced that an oil ship loaded with quantities of petroleum derivatives “petrol and diesel” arrived at the port of Hodeidah.
The source said that the ship, Suzette, carrying 10 thousand and 40 tons of gasoline and 20 thousand and 63 tons of diesel.
He pointed out that the ship was delayed on arrival at the port of Hodeidah because of the inspection in Djibouti and being held in the sea by the Aggression Coalition for more than 12 days.
The source pointed to the intent of the aggression’s forces to delay the entry of oil derivatives vessels in order to increase the suffering of citizens despite the urgent need for petroleum materials and increase the rate of consumption.
He pointed out that the Yemen Oil Company has prepared effective catering programs to distribute these quantities and marketing them according to the needs of the local market and the most vital sectors and to take the necessary supervisory measures to ensure the continuity of providing service to citizens with the best quality and maintaining the supply stability during the coming period.
