TAIZ, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-led coalition recruits were killed and wounded, including military and security leaders, in a missile attack targeted one of the coalition training camps in Taiz province on Monday, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The Yemeni army fired a ballistic missile of Qaher-M2 on Al-Khayami training camp in Taiz, leaving 38 dead and over 55 wounded, the official said.
Among the injured is the coalition-allied leader Ali Nasser Lakhsha, who is occupying the interior minister position in Bin Dhaghr government, along with a number of military and security officials were present during the operation.
The missile strike on the camp came after six similar rocket attacks launched by the Yemeni army since the beginning of 2018, including five Saudi targets.
