Bahraini young man killed by Al Khalifa regime forces

MANAMA, July 28 (YPA) – A Young Bahraini man was killed Sunday during a protest against the Bahraini regime that took place in a suburb of the capital Manama, the Al-Manar news agency reported.

According to the news outlet, the death of Bahraini youth Mohammed Ibrahim al-Meqdad came after authorities suppressed a demonstration in Manama’s “Old Country” area.

Several demonstrations took place on Saturday evening in different parts of Bahrain, particularly in the capital Manama as well as in Karbabad, Karranah, Ma’ameer, Sitrah, Nabih Saleh, Masala and Duraz areas, in protest against the regime’s execution of young men Ahmed al-Mullaly and Ahmed al-Arab.

Violent clashes broke out between demonstrators and security forces on Sitra Island, south of Manama, as security forces flooded the areas with gas and chased the participants with four-wheel-drive vehicles.

On Saturday morning, Bahrain’s Al Khalifa regime executed two young men: Ahmad al-Malali, aged 24, and Ali Hakim al-Arab, aged 25, after they had been charged with crimes they were forced to confess to under brutal torture
