Parliament demands withdrawal of damaged domestic gas cylinders

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Wednesday called for the implementation of its recommendations concerning the withdrawal of damaged and unusable domestic gas cylinders from the markets.

Members of the Parliament stressed that the concerned bodies should take their responsibility to protect citizens from risks of the damaged gas cylinders.

The MPs called for paying compensation to victims of the incidents caused by the damaged cylinders, as a result of the negligence and non-compliance with the implementation of the recommendations related thereto.

They also stressed the need to implement the recommendations on paying salaries of all civil service employees, military personnel and retirees.
