Transport Ministry discusses first phase plans within national vision

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) – A meeting was held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Transport in Sanaa to discuss the transport sector’s executive plans according to guidelines of the first phase of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.

At the meeting, Minister of Transport Zakaria al-Shami confirmed that the transport sectors’ plans for 2019-2022 “Steadfastness and Recovery phase” would contribute to making a qualitative leap in the national economy and sustainable development.

Al-Shamei stressed the importance of implementing plans and projects of priority during the first phase in accordance with the necessary needs and the vision standards and guidelines.

The meeting touched on the plans of the ministry and its sectors in light of the vision timetable and the submitted initiatives under the strategic plans of the ministry and its subsidiary institutions.
