Turkish air force destroys PKK targets in Iraq

SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – Turkish warplanes waged on Thursday strikes against targets of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in northern Iraq, according to Turkish media.

The strikes hit sites, weapons and fortifications in the Kandil Mountain region.

The air strikes came in parallel with the operation of the “Claw” against the PKK’s militants.

On May 27, Turkey launched military operation in the Hawkurk area of northern Iraq, aiming at eliminating completely on the terrorism.
