Security Council extends mandate of UN mission in Hodeidah

NEW YORK, July 15 (YPA) – The United Nations Security Council on Monday extended the mandate of UN mission observing redeployment in the Yemeni city of Hodeidah according to Stockholm Agreement between Sanaa authorities and exiled Hadi’s Saudi-backed government.

According to the British delegation to the United Nations, “all the 15 members of the Security Council voted in favor of extending the mandate of the United Nations Mission in support of Hodeidah agreement.”

The UN mission was granted a mandate in January for six months.
