Industry Minister discusses plans to develop production, marketing poultry

SNAAA, July 15 (YPA) – Industry and Trade Minister Abdulwahab Yahya al-Durrah on Monday held a meeting to discusses plans to develop production and marketing domestic animal.

During his meeting with Agriculture and Irrigation minister Abdul Malik Al-Thawr, al-Durrah stressed on the importance of encouraging industries and supporting national capital to invest in various industrial and agricultural sectors to raise up the national economy and achieve food security.

The minister noted the importance of concerting efforts with the private sector to overcome the difficulties facing the poultry sector for development.

For his part, the agriculture minister said that the ministry would open the door before importers for competition and non-monopoly and protecting citizens from any exploitation.
