Update: Army foils coalition mercenaries’ infiltration in Taiz

TAIZ, July 14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Sunday foiled an infiltration attempt of Saudi-led coalition mercenaries towards al-Barh front in Taiz province and forced them to flee, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official confirmed that the coalition mercenaries did not withstand long and fled during the confrontations with the army and committees forces backed by the artillery unit.

On Saturday, several of the coalition mercenary soldiers were killed and wounded in an ambush set by the army’s engineering unit during their infiltration attempt toward al-Jahmaliyah area in Taiz city.
