15 Kurds killed in Turkish bombardment in northern Iraq
SANAA, July 10 (YPA) – 15 militants of Kurdistan workers’ party were killed in Turkish raids on their positions in northern Iraq, the site “Alsumaria News” reported on Wednesday.
according to the site, Turkish media said: “The warplanes launched raids on sites of the Kurdistan workers’ party in northern Iraq.”
It added that “these raids led to the killing of 15 members of the party and wounding a number of them.”
Turkish forces resumed bombardment of the Kurdistan workers’ party strongholds in June 2015 for the first time after the party announced the withdrawal of militants from Turkish territory in 2013.
