Mercenary infighting causes panic among residents in Aden

ADEN, July 7 (YPA) – Armed clashes with various types of heavy and medium weapons broke out on Sunday between Saudi-led coalition rival militias in the southern port city of Aden, local sources reported.

According to the local sources, one of the citizens was killed in clashes broke out between armed groups from the areas of Saylah and Al-Mahariq of Sheikh Othman and Dar Saad districts.

They pointed out that a number of random bullets penetrated some of houses in the area and spread terror among citizens.

The region is witnessing a heavy deployment of militants in the Saylah area of Sheikh Othman, and another large number deployed in roads of al-Saylah Street and its alleys, which has hampered traffic and the closure of shops.

According to the source, the clashes sparked a state of terror among the citizens who feared for their lives because of renewed infighting over the killing of a young man from al-Saylah neighborhood and another from al-Mahariq neighborhood, amid silence from the exiled Hadi’s government.

Since the beginning of mercenary in fighting broke out, three people have been killed and 11 others have been injured in the city of Aden.
