President al-Mashat meets head of Coordination Commission for Humanitarian Affairs

SANAA, July 7 (YPA) – The President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Sunday met with the head of the National Authority for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Abdulmohsen Abdullah Taous.

During the meeting, the officials discussed aspects related to the functions of the Commission, especially with regard to the distribution of humanitarian assistance to those in need and coordination with humanitarian organizations working in Yemen in this regard.

In the meeting, Mr. President stressed the need for humanitarian organizations to abide by the laws in Yemen and facilitate its work to serve the beneficiaries in a manner that does not conflict with the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Yemen.
