Army’s attack inflicts heavy casualties on Saudi mercenaries in Asir

ASIR, July 7 (YPA) – A number of Saudi-led coalition mercenaries were killed and several others were wounded on Saturday after an offensive carried out by the Yemeni Army backed by and popular committees on their positions in Asir province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces launched an attack on sites of Saudi army mercenaries in Majazah area, leaving heavy casualties on their ranks.

The official confirmed that the attack lasted for several hours.

On Friday, the army forces foiled an attempt to advance by the Saudi army’s mercenaries in the same district and leaving several mercenaries dead and others wounded.
