Civilian killed, others wounded in armed clashes in Taiz

TAIZ, July 3 (YPA) – A civilian was killed and others wounded in Wednesday during clashes with UAE-backed Salafist “Abu Al-Abass” group, which stormed Kalaba village in al-Ma’afer district of Taiz province.

Sources reported that the clashes resulted in the killing of Khalil al-Sana’ and injuring others, including Abdula’lem al-Arsi.

The clashes expanded to include soldiers from the 35th Armored Brigade at al-Bireen area of al-Ma’afer district and continued for hours, the sources added.
