20 Saudi army recruits killed in Najran

NAJRAN, July 2 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition has lost scores of its recruits, who have been killed by an airtight ambush set up by the Yemeni Army’s military engineering Unit in Najran.

A military source said the improvised explosive devices exploded and targeted enemy military vehicles loaded with mercenaries as they were passing in Boqa desert.

The source confirmed that “the ambush destroyed two military vehicles belonging to the coalition’s in the axis of Boqa led by Hani Ba Salama.”

Furthermore, the source confirmed nearly 20 recruits were killed while they were on their way out towards Yatmah district of Jawf province.”
