MARIB, July 1 (YPA) – Two militia members of Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) were killed on Monday in fierce clashes with armed tribesmen in Marib province, eastern Yemen.
According to sources, the clashes broke out between tribal gunmen of al-Ashraf tribes and elements of a military point affiliated to Islah party at the junction of Marib dam.
The city of Marib is witnessing a military deployment and security alert, in anticipation of any confrontations with al-Ashraf tribes, where the offenders are besieged by Islah militias, they added.
