PIJ: “Israel”, US and International Community bear full responsibility for genocide in Gaza

GAZA, July 19 (YPA) -The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (PIJ), held the Israeli occupation  the United States, and the international community fully responsible for what it described as mass deaths and acts of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

“The widespread starvation and mass deaths in Gaza are the result of systematic starvation policies imposed by the occupation since October 7, 2023—and intensified since March, ” the group said in a statement on Friday.

The occupation and the US administration bear full responsibility for this crime, along with the so-called international community, whose governments have shown blatant hypocrisy and complicity, according to the statement.

The group held accountable the submissive Arab regimes—those who have surrendered to US dictates, and some of whom are actively complicit in the occupation’s crimes.

The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine concluded by saying, ” We remind Arab and Islamic peoples—most of whom remain paralyzed in the face of this horrific betrayal—that what is happening in Gaza will not remain far from them.”
