Algerian plane crashed with 100 people on board in Boufarik

SANAA, April. 11 (YPA)- An Algerian military plane carrying some 100 people crashed on Wednesday in Boufarik, a town in Blida Province  .

The al-Nahar Algerian channel quoted security officials as saying that the military plane crashed in an area link between Boufarik and Blida, confirming that the Ilyushin-type aircraft which is dedicated to logistics.

The plane crashed near the airport in Boufarik, located about 30 kilomters (20 miles) southwest of the capital Algiers.

The official added that more than 100 people were killed  and many others injured in the accident.
