Foreign Ministry condemns coalition airstrikes against civilians

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – Foreign Ministry on Saturday condemned Saudi-led coalition warplanes’ continual attacks against civilians, the most recent was targeting a citizen’s home in Warazan area of Taiz province, killing eight people.

“This crime is a flagrant violation of all international conventions and laws and humanitarian values and norms,” an official at the ministry said in a press statement.

Although the aggression entered its fifth year, the Yemeni people continue to resist in the face of war machine of the aggression coalition, he added.

The official confirmed that “the hand of peace is still extended to a just and honorable peace.”

He warned at the same time that the continuation of the aggression coalition in the escalation and criminal approach would be met with strong responses according to the principle of reciprocity.
