Yemeni army destroys Saudi military vehicle in Hajjah

HAJJAH, June 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday managed to destroy a Saudi military vehicle in the northern province of Hajjah, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the engineering unit of the army exploded an improvised explosive device targeting a military pickup loaded with mercenaries in northwest of A’aheam district, killing and wounding those on board.

On Wednesday, the army forces repelled a large-scale attack carried out by of mercenaries, backed by warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft east of Hiran, causing heavy casualties, in addition to destroying and burning three mechanisms as well as seizing various weapons in large numbers.
