Yemeni army launches offensive on mercenaries in Jawf

JAWF, June 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday launched an offensive against positions of mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the attack, which took place in Maton district, the official said.

Meanwhile, the artillery unit of the army bombed gatherings of the mercenaries in Jarshab area, causing heavy casualties in their ranks.
