BEIRUT, April 10 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry condemned on Tuesday the air raids launched at the Syrian Arab Republic and affirms its previous position that Lebanon’s airspace should not be used to attack Syria, in statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.
Lebanon will make a formal complaint with the UN Security Council,” said the statement.
The ministry condemned the raids on the Syrian military airfield on Monday, stressing on its previous positions that the Lebanese airspace should not be used to attack Syria.
The Lebanese army announced that four Israeli aircraft penetrated Lebanese airspace.
Russia and Syria also announced that the airport was targeted by guided missiles fired by two Israeli planes from Lebanese airspace.
