Yemeni army destroys four coalition military vehicles in Dhalea

DHALEA, June 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Friday managed to destroy four military vehicles belonging to mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Dhalea province, southern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces destroyed three military vehicles of the mercenaries, one of them carrying a 12.7 caliber machine gun, using suitable weapons in Qatabah district, killing and injuring a number of their crew members.

The official added that the armored unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle with a kornet rocket in the same front, killing all those on board.

Meanwhile, several coalition-backed mercenaries were killed and others wounded when an improvised explosive device exploded as they were passing in Qatabah front.
