Report: Army attacks against Saudi troops over 24 hours
SANAA, April 9 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks against US-backed Saudi-led coalition soldiers and mercenaries over the past 24 hours, according to the army reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.
- Saudi coalition media admitted the killing of 11 soldiers in clashes with the army in border fronts line.
- In Asir border province:
A ballistic missile, Bader-1, was fired toward radar brigade in Khamis Mushait.
Two Orghan missiles were fired toward gatherings of Saudi-backed militias and Sudanese soldiers beyond Alb crossing.
A Saudi soldier was shot dead in Qashabah site and five militias were sniped beyond Alab crossing.
- In Najran border province:
Artillery and missile shelling targeted Qiada hill and Boqea desert.
A Bradley vehicle was burned in Hammad site.
A Saudi-backed militia was killed by the fire of Yemen army in Boqea front.
- In Jizan border province:
Missile force of Yemen army targeted the northern Hamidha village, beyond Amod site, Shabakah and Muntazah sites.
- In Nehm district:
Two Saudi-backed militias were killed by Yemen army’s fire in Nehm front.
- In Taiz province:
Dozens of militias were killed and injured in an ambush in Habshi mountain.
An offensive operation was carried out on militias’ sites in West coast front, killing and wounding dozens.
- In Lahj province:
An attack was waged on militias’ sites in Karsh, killing and wounding many of them.
- In Yemen province of Jawf:
A leader of Saudi-backed militias was killed by Yemen army fire in frontlines.
Engineering unit of Yemen army destroyed a military vehicle of militias by an explosive device in Sabrain front of Khub-Washaaf district, killing all its crew.
