Old, lethal weapon used in assassination of preachers, mosques’ imams in Aden

ADEN, April 9 (YPA) – UAE authorities have resorted to use an old and lethal weapon in the silently assassinations against preachers and imams of mosques in the southern provinces, an official told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

The official added that the imam of the Abu Bakr Mosque in Bir-Fadhl area, Salafi Sheikh Waddah al-Qubati, mysteriously died in Aden city, by a new weapon and a lethal dose of “poison” received after his return from fighting in the ranks of the Saudi forces in Makha front.

The assassination operations is done by UAE intelligence service, which carries out these operations very carefully and targeted the sheikhs of Salafism in Aden city and Sufism in Hadramout.

Many preachers and imams of mosques in Aden, particularly Salafists, including a number of the Islah Party, were assassinated by stun guns, by private elements of the UAE authorities in Aden.
