BAYDA, April 9 (YPA) – Thousands of people took to the streets of Rdaa district of Bayda province on Sunday to protest against the Saudi-Arabian-led coalition’s air strikes and to condemn the raping of a Yemeni girl by one of the coalition’s Sudanese soldiers.
The angry protesters chanted slogans against the coalition and carried banners calling for “The Liberation of the Yemen Land.”
Governor of Bayda Muhammad al-Mansouri confirmed that the rape crime of the Yemeni girl, that took place in Al-Khokha district of Hodeidah province last week, was a dangerous and unprecedented crime and will not be tolerated.
He called on all Yemeni citizens to go to front lines to defend the homeland and the dignity of the Yemeni people against the foreign invaders.
