ADEN, June 9 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition on Saturday refused to grant Yemenia Airlines a clearance for its flight on Sunday from Aden to Cairo, for unknown reasons, Media sources reported on Sunday.
The Yemenia Airways Company said on Saturday that the coalition refused to grant clearance for its trip to Cairo on Sunday, adding that the trip was postponed until Tuesday, June 11.
Al-Jazeera correspondent Samir Al-Namri said on Twitter that Yemenia Airlines postponed its trip on Sunday because the coalition refused to grant clearance for the Cairo-Aden trip.

The coalition has already stopped a number of flights to and from Aden International Airport and has refused to authorize it more than once without giving reasonable reasons not to allow Yemeni Airlines to operate its international and domestic flights.
At the end of May, coalition countries refused to give Yemeni airlines the departure permit for its 608 AFB flight from Aden airport to Amman on Monday (May 27th).
The “Yemenia Airways” has suffered heavy casualties for years, due to the measures and procedures that the company’s airplanes are experiencing at the airport of Aden City, in addition to being controlled by the coalition forces supervised by the UAE occupation forces.
