The official said the sniping unit of the army gunned down seven of pro-coalition militia in Showak valley in al-Ghail district of the province.
He pointed out that the army attacked the coalition gunmen’s sites in Waqaz, al-Baidha and al-Ghorfa in al-Masloob district, killing and injuring a number of the militia elements.
A military vehicle of the pro-coalition militia was destroyed in al-Ghail district, which led to killing all of its crew, the official added.
On Saturday overnight, the Yemeni army implemented a qualitative attack on the militia locations in al-Abeed village in al-Motoon district, which left losses in life and gear in their ranks, as well as destroying a military vehicle carrying a 23mm machine-gun in al-Khalifein front and burning another in al-Mahashima front in Khab Washaf district.
According to military sources, a military vehicle carrying pro-coalition militia was destroyed with a guided-missile in al-Yatama desert in the same district, while the Yemeni army artillery forces shelled gatherings of pro-coalition fighters in al-Mahashima and achieved direct hits.
