SANAA, June 1 (YPA) – Employees of Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) and several civil society organizations on Friday held a protest vigil in front of the United Nations Office in Sanaa to condemned the continued holding of oil ships by Saudi-led coalition.
The participants, including the company’s executive general director, performed Friday prayers in front of the UN Office in the 60th Street.
They held the United Nations responsible for any humanitarian disaster that might occur in case of the continuation of holding the oils ships and not allowing their access to the port of Hodeidah.
The protesters confirmed that they would continue their sit-in during Eid al-Fitr until the release of all oil vessels held by the aggression coalition.
