President calls UAE occupation forces to depart Socotra Island

SANAA, April 7 (YPA) – President  Saleh al-Sammad Saturday stressed on the Yemeni sovereignty in Socotra Island and called UAE occupation forces to depart the Yemeni Socotra  island.

The United Arab Emirates have been occupying several Yemeni islands, including Socotra, and the Arab Sea.

The president’s remarks came during a meeting with transport minister, Zakaria Al- Shami,in the presidential palace here.
