Maariv newspaper: Saudi Arabia and UAE are most Arab countries buying weapons from Israel

SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – The Hebrew language newspaper Maariv on Tuesday revealed that most Arab countries regularly buy weapons from the Israel Zionist entity

Israeli private law officially prohibits the supply and sale of arms to “hostile” Arab states.

“However, despite all these laws, the Israeli army ministry sells weapons and combat vehicles to a number of Arab countries, including Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Kurdistan region of Iraq, the UAE, Bahrain and other countries,” Yossi Melman said in his article.

“Israel” decided to remove the state of Iraq from its hostile list and allowed it to trade with the autonomous Kurdish region, as Israeli Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon signed a document to make a remarkable amendment to the law.

“This law has been established since the British Mandate in 1939, and has been adopted by all Israeli Governments since the inception of the state in 1948,” he added.

“As hostile countries are prohibited from establishing commercial and economic relations with them, some Arab countries remain on the list of hostile countries, including Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Iran,” the report concluded.

The revelations of the Israeli newspaper show that several Arab regimes have de facto forsaken the Palestinian cause and are making commercial deals with the Zionist colonial entity that is occupying Palestine.

Nations that are still considered hostile to Israel, such as Syria, Iran and Yemen, are consistent Anti-Zionist powers in the region.
