Yemeni riyal continues to plunge against foreign currencies

ADEN, May 26 (YPA) – Financial and economic experts said on Sunday that the Yemeni central bank’s branch in the occupied province of Aden has caused in plunging the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies.

The collapse of the currency came after the officials of the bank have been continuing in the accounting for importers of oil derivatives and goods.

The experts said that a dollar now worth 550 riyals on official markets due to the war and economic siege imposed by Saudi-led coalition on Yemen since 2015.
