ADEN, May 26 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition countries refused to give a permit to Yemeni Airlines controlled by Hadi’s government for its flight No. 608 AFB from Aden International Airport to Jordan’s capital Amman on Monday, May 27.
A source at the Yemen Airways company said that the decision of the coalition countries not to give the Yemeni flight a permission to take off came without any reason.
The source pointed out that the company leadership asked the coalition to change its flight from Aden airport to Sayoun airport, so as not to fall in awkward positions with passengers. However, the request was rejected.
He added that the company would have to operate its existing AFA aircraft at Sayoun Airport empty of passengers to Amman to transfer the passengers from Amman to Sayoun in order to fulfill its promises, despite that would cost it a lot of losses.
