Update: Army repels large-scale coalition’s attack in Jizan

JIZAN, May 13 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Monday repelled a large-scale attack of coalition-backed mercenaries in Jizan border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

The mercenaries were inflicted heavy losses during repelling their attack in the east of Jahfan mount, said the official.

The mercenaries’ attack was backed by air cover of Apache helicopters, spy drones and warplanes, which launched several strikes and lasted for more than five hours without achieving any progress.
