British Foreign Secretary comments on redeployment from Hodeidah ports
SANAA, May 12 (YPA) – British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said on Sunday that the withdrawal of the army and the popular committees from three Hodeidah ports in western Yemen were encouraging signs of the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
He pointed out that this is due to the efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffith.
He pointed out that this plan seems to be approaching the application of redeployment of troops, and is an important step to end the brutal war in Yemen.
On Saturday, the Sanaa government forces began redeploying from the ports of Salif, Hodeidah and Ras Issa, which will continue until 14 this month, according to UN envoy Martin Griffith.
