In Pictures: National party begins redeployment from Hodeidah ports

HODEIDAH, May 11 (YPA) – The national party on Saturday began the implementation of redeployment from al-Salif, Ras Issa and Hodeidah ports of Hodeidah province under the supervision of three teams of the United Nations according to Stockholm Agreement.

Earlier in the day, the Supreme Political Council’s member Mohammed Ali al-Houthi announced that the army and popular committees would carried out an unilateral withdrawal from the three ports of Hodeidah, because Saudi-led coalition countries refused to implement Sweden Agreement.

Al-Houthi held the Security Council and the United Nations fully responsible for the continuation of the worst humanitarian crisis as a result of the siege imposed on Sanaa airport, the non-payment of salaries and the deliberate starvation of Yemen.

He called for taking actions against the aggression countries hindering the implementation of the Sweden agreement.

On Friday, the United Nations said that the army and popular committees announced that they would withdraw unilaterally from three main ports of Hodeidah during the period from 11th to 14th of May.
