Army attacks coalition mercenaries’ sites in Taiz

TAIZ, May 11 (YPA) – The army and popular committees on Saturday launched a large-scale offensive against sites of Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in al-Wazeyah district of Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack left many dead and wounded in ranks of the mercenaries and heavy losses in their military gear, according to the official.

Meanwhile, the army units backed by the popular committees repelled an infiltration attempt by the mercenaries in al-Mafalees area of Hifan district, which resulted in several casualties of the mercenaries.
