PM: Yemen needs over 20 years to remove coalition cluster bombs

SANAA, April 4 (YPA) – Prime Minister on Wednesday said that Yemen needs more than 20 years to remove the cluster bombs that dropped by the Saudi-led coalition.

This came during the symposium organized by the National Committee for Mine Action in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

In the symposium, bin Habtoor also said that “removing the causes that lead to conflict is the key the stability of peoples and an important factor to eradicate the cultivation of mines in Yemen.”

He stressed on an importance to meet all political parties to remove the causes of war that imposed on the Yemeni people.

The cabinet praised the cooperation and support provided by the United Nations and other international organizations to get rid of the community from mines and cluster bombs that dropped by Saudi-led coalition on Yemeni cities and villages since the beginning of the war.
