Iranian Spokesman warns Bahrain’s rulers

SANAA, May 4 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi on Friday advised Bahrain officials to know their limits and size.

In response to the Bahrain foreign minister’s assertions that he would not allow Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz for one day, Mousavi said: “Iran insists on ensuring the security of the Strait of Hormuz as the vital infrastructure of the world’s energy supply as long as the interests of the Iranian people are preserved in this important and vital corridor.”

“But for reasons of good and neighborliness, we advise the officials of this small country (Bahrain) to know their size when they launch threats against bigger ones.
