Update 1: Yemeni army carries out offensive on coalition’s sites in Taiz

TAIZ, May 2 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Thursday launched a large-scale attack on sites of mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Taiz province, in southwest Yemen, a military official, told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the battle, which took place al-Wazeiyah district.

Earlier in the day, the army forces attacked the mercenaries’ sites in Jahmalyah district, killing and injuring dozens of them.
