ADEN, May 2 (YPA) -At least two people were killed in clashes between coalition rival militias in Aden province, local sources have told Yemen Press Agency.
According to local sources, the clashes broke out between security forces and an armed robbery gang in al-Mamdara district.
One of the dead was a soldier who was killed by members of a robbery gang in al-Mamdara, during a security force intervention.
The sources said that members of the armed robbery gang fired at the security force that came down to stop the robbery by firing, which resulted in the death of a soldier named Abdullah Qasim Qarsh. In response to the killing of their colleague, the soldiers were able to kill the shooter.
Aden and other southern provinces have been witnessing assassinations and security disorder since United Arab Emirates occupation forces took control over the city.
