Health Ministry forms team to discuss implementation of national vision

SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population on Monday approved the formation of a working group to discuss the implementation of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state with regard to the health sector.

At an expanded meeting held at the ministry, Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha al-Mutwakil stressed the need to create a modern health system that meets the needs of society and supports the achievement of sustainable development.

The Minister called for positive interact with the national vision, which is considered implementation of the national project “A hand protects and a hand builds” launched by the martyr President Saleh al-Samad.

Dr. al-Mutwakil reviewed the strategic objectives of the national vision for the health sector, as well as the role of the ministry in enhancing the performance of the health sector.
