Cabinet forms committee to implement national vision for state building

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – The Cabinet in its Sunday meeting under chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtour formed a governmental steering committee for the national vision for building the modern state of Yemen.

The steering committee is headed by Prime Minister, and its membership includes three Deputies Prime Ministers, Ministers of Finance, Local Administration, Civil Service and Insurance, Industry and Trade, three Ministers of State, and Secretary General of the Cabinet.

At the meeting, the cabinet listened to a presentation by the Prime Minister on the government’s institutional and executive commitments towards the national vision.

Dr. bin Habtour stressed the importance of the integration of efforts between different ministries and government agencies to start implementing the vision in their annual plans and programs.

He also noted to the national, political, developmental and developmental dimensions of the vision and the serious and strong political will to achieve its great strategic objectives.
