President meets Yemen’s central bank governor

SANAA, April 24 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday met the  governor of central bank Mohammed al-Sayani to discuss an economic situation of the banking sector in the country.

At the meeting, the president stressed the need for the central bank to follow monetary policies to mitigate the effects of the economic war carried out by Saudi-led aggression on Yemen.

The meeting touched upon the banking sector’s situation and ways to confront the actions taken by the aggression and its mercenaries to loot salaries of the state-run employees and target the national economy.
