Explosion rocks Savoy Cinema in Colombo

SANAA, April 24 (YPA) – A violent explosion rocked Savoy Cinema in Colombo on Wednesday morning, Sri Lanka media sources reported.

According to the sources, no casualties have been reported of the blast.

The Sri Lankan police reported that the death toll from the Easter attacks on hotels and churches in the capital Colombo and its suburbs on Sunday raised to 359 dead and hundreds wounded.

The investigation confirmed that there were nine suicide bombers, eight of them were arrested.

The terrorist organization ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks and it said it was carried out by seven attackers.

The Sri Lankan authorities said on Tuesday that two Sri Lankan militant groups, the “National Unification” group and the association of “Malat Ibrahim “, are responsible for the attacks.
