One dead, 3 injured in shooting in Australia
SANAA, April 14 (YPA) – A security man was killed and three others injured in Sunday’s shooting in Melbourne due to escalating violence linked to the proliferation of arms in the country’s second city, Australian police said.
The police said two nightclub guards in the Prahran district.
“It seems that the shooting took place from a car at a crowd outside the clubhouse,” Andrew Stamper, a police officer from Victoria, southwest of Melbourne, told reporters.
Stamper added “It’s a terrible job, it’s a busy pub and one of Melbourne’s biggest amusement parks in one of the city’s busiest neighborhoods.”
Four people were taken to hospital, one of whom was a security man, 37-year-old, died immediately
A 28-year-old man remains in critical condition, while two people aged 29 and fifty have been injured less seriously.
Last year, seven members of one family in western Australia were shot dead by a gunman who committed suicide on the spot.
