Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack in Taiz

TAIZ, April 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday repelled a large-scale attack carried out by militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the battle, which took place in Mafalees area of Hifan district, left dozens of the militants dead and wounded.

The official added that the army forces destroyed three military vehicles during the attack.

He confirmed that the attack lasted for several hours with the participation of the coalition warplanes to back its militants during their foiled attack.
