Ministry of Electricity condemns coalition’s crime in Sa’wan

SANAA, April 10 (YPA) – Ministry of Electricity and Energy in the National Salvation Government on Wednesday condemned the crime committed by Saudi-led coalition aircrafts in Sa’wan area of the capital Sanaa.

“This brutal crime came to reveal the truth of the continued aggression against Yemen,” said the ministry in a statement.

The ministry considered this massacre a war crime and an extension of the past war crimes that have been committed by the coalition warplanes over more than four years.

The statement indicated to the collusion and silence of the international community towards those crimes encouraged the aggressors to continue to shed the blood of Yemenis, calling on the free peoples of the world to stand by the Yemeni people and pressure to stop the aggression and lift the siege imposed on Yemen.

On Sunday, the coalition aircrafts waged airstrikes on the densely populated area of Sa’wan, killing 13 civilians and wounding 95 others, mostly schoolgirls and passersby, as well as causing damage to nearby houses and schools.
