UN orgs hold meeting in Sanaa to discuss Sa’wan crime, cholera

SANAA, April 8 (YPA) – The United Nations organizations working in Yemen on Monday held an emergency meeting in the capital Sanaa to discuss affects of the crime committed by Saudi-led coalition against schoolgirls in Sa’wan neighborhood, and the spread of cholera epidemic.

In the meeting, Head of the National Authority for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Response Dr. al-Qassem Abbas affirmed the “bias of the international community to the aggression forces despite the grave violations and hideous massacres.”

Abbas indicated to the aggravation of the humanitarian situation due to the continued aggression and unjust siege on Yemen.

He called on the international organizations to condemn Sa’wan crime, and to coordinate efforts to confront the cholera epidemic.
