5 coalition soldiers shot dead in Hajjah

HAJJAH, April 8 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s snipping unit on Monday shot dead five soldiers of Saudi-led coalition in north of Medi desert in Hajjah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Meanwhile, the engineering unit of the army blew up a military vehicle carrying militants of the coalition in an ambush behind al-Nar Mount, according to the official.

On Sunday, the army forces backed by the popular committees attacked sites of the coalition militias in east of Hiran area in the same province, inflicting human losses on them, in addition to destroying two vehicles belonging to them.

The army forces also repelled a wide-scale infiltration attempt by the Saudi-backed militias in east of al-Nar Mountain, killing several of them and destroying five vehicles, while a sixth vehicle was destroyed in an ambush western Muthallath Ahem area.

Moreover, three Sudanese mercenaries of the coalition were gunned down in north of Medi desert.
